How do you use it effectively? Say I have 20 divisions in one province, and want to attack with 9 on simultanous arrival. I usually have to circle all 20, tell them to attack with simulatanous arrival, then tell the rest 11 units to stay back in the province. This has two disadvantages:

- If I want the tanks to attack, and I have inf in that province, since I marked all divisons, the simulatanous arrival will still go the speed of the inf.
- All other troops loose their dug in bonus.

Any help?

Click-and-drag your mouse to select all the Divisions. <control>-right-click to set them all to "Support Attack". Then release <control> and hold down <shift> instead, and over in the left side-bar, click on any Divisions that you want to stay behind... this de-selects each unit as you click on it. When only the real attacking units remain selected, <control>-right-click and set them all to "Simultaneous Arrival".

Or, to emphasize the point:

When having multiple forces selected, you can de-select some of them by holding shift and left-clicking on the unwanted units.

Most players who don't know that do also have problems selecting/merging aircraft. Select one aircraft, then hold shift and drag a box around the provinces which contain the aircrafts you want to select. This will select only units of the same type as the originally selected one, i.e. aircraft. :)
