Hi,

am on Turn 40 now playing on a 9 player map with the "far" setting and I am noticing that the turns over the time getting slower to process.

I think i might know one of the reasons, a "problem" most 4x games have: the units of all empires have to move around and that takes time to finish their animation.

i looked in the settings and only could find the check box for enabling / disabling army animation in general. of course I wand to see my army movement, to make the game feel like a real world instead of a chess piece moving instantly. BUT I don't care about the animation of armies i don't have vision on and maybe even at some point other AI's in general.

so adding an option of allowing us to set enemy AI movment to either fast animation (like in the tactical battles) or to instand movement might speed um things considerably ... especially if we don't have vision on them i don't think anybody would care if the invisible army moves instantly.
