Would it be possible to have the AI switch to a more restrained nuking behaviour after having had atomic weapons for awhile? Or perhaps after World War 2 is 'officially' over? There needs to be some mechanic to simulate Cold War-style conflicts, you can't have major powers nuking small nations every time a war between them erupts. Since 1964 actually seems 'supported' rather than just 'enabled' as an end date, such an AI setting would be useful.

The Modern Day mod for HoI 2 has a trigger for that. You can only use nukes if the enemy invades you and lose a percentage of Victory Points.

Maybe in AoD they do something like that and add things like not being able to nuke an enemy unless the war lasts more than X years, or whatever feels right.
