I have now scripted an event, it has two options: A and B, if I have a second event, which I want to fire if A is selected, but not B, how am I to do?

You can either use the "trigger = #ID" or the "sleepevent = #ID" command. The first directly calls the event you specify the other is used indirect, by disabling the event in the other option.
