So my second Art of War game, following my brief test game as England, was Baluchistan>Mughals (a horribly ahistoric tag switch which will no doubt cause some forum unrest) and I trucked along pretty happily vassalizing a bunch of Indian states and forging my way to the Ganges. At some point after upgrading from generic to Mughal ideas, I got the event flipping one of my provinces to Sikhism.
Now that's great and all, but it seemed rather underwhelming when I'd seen the new reformation as England. So it occurred to me; surely it wouldn't take much work to have the centers of reformation, or some modified form of them, be used to spread Sikhism in India? It would be an interesting application of the mechanic outside of Europe, I think. There'd probably some limiting factor, like the center struggling to convert anything any great distance away, to prevent it spreading as far as Protestantism does, but I think it'd work better than random province flips, to be sure.
