Hi,
I have noticed a significant drop in FPS after the latest patch when viewing the Planet View and issuing planet build orders. I have picked up a game I started a month before 1.4 launched. Every time I select the Planet View, the FPS drops from 60 to rappidly variying numbers between 7 to 20 fps.
When playing the game on fast in the Galaxy View everything seem to run fine, the drop just happens when opening the Planet View and especially when cycling through the planets.
I have already switched to Windowed mode and am running the game and Steam as Administrator. I have a very new machine with quite a lot of CPU ang GPU power and more than enough memory.
I have scoured the forum and the web and have seen many posts about fps drop/ lag/ low performance in general on large maps mid/ late game. I am plying on a huge map but I only have 2 small sectors (max 2 planets per sector).
Anyone have any idea?
