Siege events not happening

What happened with the siege event notifications? I mean, not long ago, such events would happen that would reduce my morale, the enemy's morale, or the number of troops. Now i do not see them anymore, nor do i get any notification when any of those happens. I simply see the besieger troops' number be reduced and etc.

What happened to the siege events?

If there's no commander of the besieging army, siege events don't trigger. That's what is likely doing it.
