hello

long time player of eu4 and i have recently gotten a new laptop. the screen resolution is different and on the whole this is fine, but the side box seems really small. Was wondering if there was any way to have it longer as some information seems harder to read

ie on diplomacy screen the country information has to be scrolled rather than just showing the whole thing.

also on the revolts screen, it seems like it should be longer as the show revolts tickbok below the actual box

also doesn't seem to do it on all options, as you can see the military option is extended

basically i want to get all options to be the same size as the last image. I know that i could change the screen resolution, but this resolution looks right on this laptop

Did you change the gui scale? Your screenshots have a size of 1920x1080, but everything looks to be too big for that resolution. Try to change the GUI scale to 1.0 and disable any scale which you might have configured in your OS or graphics drivers. This should at least make the stability view fill most of the screen. There are several mods which make other windows bigger so that they make better use of a 1920x1080 resolution. For example better UI 2, various bigger UI mods, UI a la artemis. Some of them also change the font to make it more readable or have submods which do that. But most UI and font mods are incompatible with each other, so you can only use one of them unless they explicitly state that they are compatible.

If the fonts are too small, you could try a mod which uses a bigger font. I have used Better UI 2 - Verdana Font (has to be used together with the main better ui 2 mod) in the past, but I'm not sure if it still works for the current version.
