Sibling of target dies upon assassination

I want to have the Doux of Krete dead so his sister (second and only in line) can take his place. Naturally I started a plot, and when ever I succeed, she dies of natural causes the same day and the Basileus ends up with their titles. I tried this several times as it seemed suspicous to me.

I can't think of any reason for this to happen...can you? They are both under age, if it matters.

There were two similar bugs reported, one where the heir dies and the other where the wife died. I have experienced both, and have yet to get a save or a reproducible scenario.

Therefore any and all reports on the topic could come in handy - more reports, easier for the devs to find the reason.
