Just realized I actually didn't mess with my shading groups on that cylinder tower and it's set for flat shading still. :O

I still have a lot to do with the texturing as although I like where this building is going it looks very muddy to me. I don't know if it's the "right" way or even the most efficient way but the only way I really feel works well for me with my limited knowledge on modeling so far, but I stopped using the normal map generators (like crazy bump etc.) as I just didn't have the time to learn the controls to make the texture turn out well for specific areas of my map so I usually make my normal from grayscaled height maps by hand layer by layer in PS which takes a long ass time. I rushed this process so I could just see the building in game with somewhat of an idea how it would turn out so I'll probably revisit the entire normal mapping again when I get my color/diffuse finalized.

illumination map set to full white for the windows and diffuse map used for the windows colors (but of course it won't work like this).

Safeco Center Building. Still working out textures and might want to redo my normal map to get cleaner windows.

Looks really nice, actually for my taste even better than the orignial. These very glossy blueish (and sometimes golden/silver) windows are in my opinon one of the worst design ideas of the 80s/90s (and 00s and 10s in Dubai :D)

The buildingsize looks a little out of size though, like a 1,5:1 version of the building, or is it just me?

And very good eye! This building is actually about the same footprint plus or minus 5-10 meters but the height I ended up accidentally scaling down and didn't realize it until about done with my model. I'll go through and before I post the final and try to make more around 90meters. The real building is 96 meters tall so it's about 30% less than the original height as it currently stands.

I'm a big admirer of your work so I do appreciate guys who know what they're doing giving me some good critiques! :D

OH AND PS: So you really think green windows look like shit? I was actually going to try and see if I could work out the color mapping so that the spec would have a green shade to it (sort of how Zed has some of his spec maps done). Maybe I skip that??

Nah, got it through the compression, without any serious damage ;)

I fixed the rooftextures, now the bitumen stripes are around 70cm, which thems the NY standart, also the colormap controlls the roofcolor, so there are blackish and whitsh roofs.

The grain elevator project moves slowly forward. The height matches many default commercial highrise buildings:) I want the elevator to be a 4x10 growable agricultural processing lot but the templates are only limited to 4x4 and smaller. How can one enlarge the size of the growable template?

This is a more silly one I've wanted to try since I learned about Blender. Not anything close to as cool or as awesome as what you guys are doing but a quick preview. Adding a couple more towers then going to have to cut some polys down. The domes be eating up poly's like there aint no tomorrow. Then I gotta UV unwrap. Shit....then texturing...it'll be a while fellas. :)
