So I have a silly question for you all what is the point of having 3 mech bays filled? To me it just seems like wasting money since you can only use 4 mechs at a time.

3 'mech bays filled is a bit excessive, but having backup 'mechs for a couple of your line fighters makes sense - it allows you to do missions without waiting 7+ days to replace the side torso that got shot off. Time is money as they say.So I have a silly question for you all what is the point of having 3 mech bays filled? To me it just seems like wasting money since you can only use 4 mechs at a time.
There's been a looooot of books released since then. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/King_CrabWhat the heck is a King Crab? I don't remember seeing that in my BattleTech 3025 technical manual.
They're just metal slugs. Easy to manufacture.I avoided using the LosTech Highlander because...where would I get the Gauss Ammo to replace what I shot?

Honestly, i feel like you should be able to buy extra Gauss ammo, just because of how simple it is.
Yeah, you could probably explain it by the specialized ammo bins with some Lostech loading mechanisms themselves. Ammo is easy to replenish, but if the ammo bin itself gets wrecked, you're screwed.Yeah. But since you can't - it must mean that there is something complicated about Gauss ammo. Therefore maybe it takes LosTech to manufacture the ammo system, but not the slugs?
You can only find them in stores, there are no guarantees on what planet, as far as i know.Spartakus: Where the heck did you find that Urban mech! I need to have one! I never encountered one though.![]()
