Shouldn't Slovakia get some attention?

Hi, I would really like to see releasible Slovakia in the next update of hoi 4(let me explain).
Its because I would want to play as support state of germany in mp. And not many mp games are starting from 1939.
I know that I can do the civil war and than release them but I think that that is a bit complicated and also it is buging a lot. For instance idk if it is happening to anyone else or just me but every time I play as released nation Slovakia and Czechoslovakia (only provinces of Czech republic since Slovakia was released, and idk why it is still called Czechoslovakia) accepts the fate of Czechoslovakia I become a pupet of Germany and also loose my land to Hungary...
Please I would like this bug to be out of the game. I know not a lot of people are doing this strategy but still...
And also it would be lovely if you could implement national focus tree for Slovakia too. I think since it almost in every AI game it should deserve some love.
And also the reasarches could stay to when released.
Also this could be included in the death or dishonor dlc.
Thanks for reading my idea.
Cheers,
Topical 595

I agree that it would be nice for all participants of WW2 to get some attention, but realistically though Slovakia probably won’t get much focus until late in development if ever. There just isn’t much for Slovakia to really do because of their small size and lack of territorial claims, most of their content would be through events.

They could reform the Principality of Nitra for instance. But at least the small change to get releasible Slovakia would be nice...

One possible solution would be to add a special event for the Fate of Czechoslovakia event. If the CZE is a player, it can give him/her an option to continue playing as Slovakia or accept Game Over. Then just do a simple tag switch to SLO. I have used this method in my mod a bunch of times and it's actually very easy to implement.

World conquest.

Okay, maybe that's not "realistic," but I'd bet cash money that:
  1. A reasonable subset of players would try it within a month of the feature being added, and
  2. It would become an achievement after someone at PDX came up with a wretched enough pun for the achievement name.

I think the devs said they would like focus trees for countries existing in '36. Anyways, Slovakia is such a marginal state, that it doesn't even mater much. I think during the existencie of the Slovak State, we sent few regiments, maybe a few divisions at best, which is for the game purposes, pretty much negligible.
Should Slovakia get it's focus tree, it should be something like Vichy France's - just a small one, maybe with the ability to get back old Czechoslovakian territory (maybe without Sudetenland) as a kind of reward, but that's it.

I don't think it is necessary for now to have the focus tree for Slovakia. I would not prioritize this, the Principality of Nitra is nonsense and there is not much to do with Slovakia. First, the developers should finish their roadmap and then listen to the new ideas either from the community or themselves, there's plenty of work to do and fixes as well.

Slovakia is kind of a meme like Mengkukuo - it's "independence", even as a puppet, barely existed, and its military capacity was the equivalent of about 1 proper division. I'd add it to the list of puppets that should be removed purely due to the ridiculous numbers of divisions they can spam, along with Mengkukuo, Malaya, Japanese-puppetted warlords and Reichscommisariats.

Yes, I think this is the best idea in this comment section so far.

I mean, at least Mengkukuo (unlike Slovakia) exists at 1936 game-start. And they have some interesting stuff to do - in 1936 they were still loosely tied with the Chinese government and their entire existence had some claim to Mongolia. Slovakia would only be really interesting in HOI4 as a revolt tag against the Czechs and maybe some flavor events - they basically have no power and no places to really expand except send volunteers
