Shouldn't France and Austria be historical allies just before/during the French Rev?

I normally start from the very earliest start date in my games, but sometimes I like to change history in somewhat significant ways (ie: winning the war of Spanish Succession as France, wining the American Revolution as Britain, etc). Today, I went to the 'French Revolution' start date and tried to crush the revolutionaries (which was actually surprisingly easy). Looking around to see who I could ally with, I noticed that Austria greatly disliked me, at somewhere around -90, though their overall opinion was neutral. I thought historically Louis XVI married to an Austrian Princess (who's name escapes me), and this caused a break in centuries-old hostilities between the two nations. Louis and his wife attempted to flee to Austrian Belgium to seek safety at the beginning of the revolution, only to be caught by revolutionary guards a few dozen kilometers before the border.
Later in the revolution Austria and Prussia went to war with Rev France for the reason of re-installing the Bourbon line in France. They also made a proclamation that they would burn Paris if any harm was done to Louis or the rest of his family.

Shouldn't the game be set up with the two nations having favorable relations? At the very least shouldn't a Royal Marriage, since that's factually and historically accurate.

Just a little note for maybe an upcoming patch, I'm not sure.

I just went through it, and as far as I can tell there is a royal marriage between France and Austria while Louis XVI is in power. That ends on the 14th of July 1789, with the storming of the Bastille, but that seems fair :D

edit: on second thought, I guess it would make sense to extend it so long as he is still officially in power.

I just started at the bookmark date, when Louis XVI is still in power but Revolutionaries have taken over Paris. Louis didn't get divorced or anything, and I just thought that the two nations would have stronger relations, Austria and Rev France obviously wouldn't, but before the Bourbon line fell it would seem like they would.

Louis effectively lost control of the country following the formation of the National Assembly, surely it's this what they want to simulate in game.

That's why we need to know who the Queen Consorts are and where they are from and which dynasty they are from.
