I was thinking about the post-release support for this game, and one think that I keep thinking is if the number of anomalies will hold up for some players that play this game over 500+ hours.
One way of fixing this "problem" with Paradox's DLC policy would be to add some anomalies (between 5 and 10?) with every major patch (so 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 but not 1.1.1 or 1.2.1) to increase the number of anomalies over time.
If Paradox does this, they could easily double the number of anomalies until the end of the game's lifetime (I assume there will be 200 anomalies at release). If they really want to focus on this idea they could do even more!
Most anomalies should be in the free patch, but if the anomaly requires an expansion machanic to work, it could be in the expansion instead. Or they could change the result of the anomaly to a slightly less interesting but functional in the vanilla game if the expanion is not present.
So, what are your thoughts for this idea?
