Should other nations be able to make bicycle units?

Come on guys, Its a well known fact that the Netherlands and Japan were the only nations to ride bicycles without falling over.

No ones quite sure how they do it.

I watched April 9th, a movie about a Danish unit that fought the Germans during its invasion of Denmark. It seemed fairly realistic for the setting. They even had training drills on how to change tires quickly. Such drills did not help them much when very light tanks showed up and ruined their day.

I would say it was a decent show, but my wife has accused me of being able to watch a TV test pattern, so your mileage may vary.

Of course, but that's no reason everyone else's focus trees can't have a focus to enable a bicycle special forces type to emulate the historical masters of the art. The players that insist on historical play can just not take that focus. Everyone else can enjoy their PanzerkampfFahrrad.

Several nations used bike mounted infantry during the war. Finland used it for sure. Sweden had 6 bike regements by 1942 and at least one of the starting units in 36, the one called "Gotlands Militärområde" should be a bike infantry unit, but in game they are a mixed infantry/cavalry unit despite replacing their horses with bikes 1901!

Only complication would be that Swedish army used Skijoring (Swedish Tolkning) for both bike and ski infantry making them more mobile. But I think making it possible to have bike infantry in the first place would be an improvement.
