Portugal is in a Personal Union under me when a colonial war escalated into a european war. France assumed leadership of the war for the aggressors and Portugal did the same for the defenders. I, as the senior member of personal union with Portugal was not called in. The fact that a I wasn't called has, more or less, been reported. That's not my issue.
My issue is that France refused my Enforce Peace. France was losing the war at -18. After the month it took for me to send another diplomat the war was -17 for France and we hadn't had a single engagement yet. Yet France was not just willing to white peace, but gave in to some demands. It seems the algorithm for refusing the Enforce Peace and how they handle peace negotiations are not aligned.
In short, if an aggressor is willing to white peace, it should accept (almost) any Enforce Peace requests. Am I wrong?
