Should I preorder the game?

I will sit back and wait for you guys to test it.....if its not a Beta full of bugs then......(imagine the way the road runners legs go in a circle, and a cloud of dust, all the way to the computer shop, of which i can search at least a dozen for copies ).

Solution

Wait for a "definitive" patch to come out (like EU2 1.07 and HoI 1.05) before playing otherwise your save games are useless.

The first few patches come out quickly so dont buy too soon.

Besides if you wait a while you'll get it cheap on ebay.

I got EU2 first by illegal downloading, then I decided to buy it off ebay for only $6.5

HoI was more expensive at $17.08.

I'd recommend pre-ordering it if you want to get it the first day. This is not a huge title from the retailer's perspective, so they won't order many. Remember HOI last year? It pretty much sold out everywhere the first day (at least in the US).

That being said, GameStop isn't even taking pre-orders on it at this point, so I guess EB's it if you want to get it for sure.
