Also, when you get the game, all of the traits are listed in the manual (though not their exact in-game effects). Wives, like any other characters, can be "Lustful", "Chaste", "Valorous", "Forgiving", etcetera... and also each character has about 6-8 numerical stats, including health and fertility (though only 4 of these, not including those two, are visible in-game).

And as for age, I've seen women in game having children even as old as 42 or so. Characters in game are treated either as "children" (for which not all actions are available, such as marrying them off or appointing them your marshal) or, after age 16, "adults" (for which all actions are available).

In the game, you don't exactly play a country (although it's called that); you play the ruling dynasty, so the territory you control shifts along with inheritances and conquests. I've seen cases where the family did not even wind up controlling its original territory anymore. (I had this happen once, when I had appointed my ancestral duchy - Brittany - to a younger brother, and he went off crusading and declared himself an independent king ten years later, taking the Duchy of Brittany with him. In the meantime, I had become King of Norway.)

Everybody is children until they reach 16...
When they then reach 16, they can marry and get children!

And every ages can inherrit! If you are king/Duke or Count and your son is just born, and you then dies, he will inherrit!
But it also depends on which laws you have!

It's ok you ask... Better ask one time to many, than one time to few!
But it's sometimes difficult to explain!
Just buy the game, unless you live in a trailer and have to live for 10$ a month!
It's just a game... And It's really good!
Games should not be talked about... They should be played! ;)

OK I just got some more questions LOL.

Hmm... Well...
Perhaps I'm just VERY spoiled! :D
You're right then, if you wanna spend your money on something good, you should ask before you act!

About your question...
You can choose different laws... And I won't sit and talk about them now! :p
You should always make sure that you have someone with your own familyname, to inherrit you!
If someone else inherrit, you lose the game! Quite simple...

Therefore, If you don't have any children when you die, your brothers will inherrit... If you have none alive, and they haven't leaved any children, you will jump back to your unckles, and then your nephews and that..
If there's no one there either, you jump back to the lines of your grandfather!

Of course, if you have a law that allow traces to run through females, your daughters and sisters childs will inherrit! But remember, when they marry, they get their husbands last name, and so do their children.
The familyname rule you see! ;)
THerefore marry your sisters and daughters into your own family, if that's possible. At least the eldest! So you will always have someone to inherrit.

If there absolutely NO ONE who is in the succession line, you lose!
Sometimes though, I have tried to suddenly receive a new charachter with my last name... A kind of far relative! He he...

Ask more if you are uncertain! :)

Oops I read it wrong.I mean what kind of law do I need to have so there children can inherit?

There are many different laws that all have different rules inregards to inheritance and tracing of family lineage. Each has its pros and Cons. Like in most Paradox game you really have to choose which best suites your current situation.
