Should I do the immoral thing and form England?

Started as Offaly, trying to get Luck of the Irish + Spanish Fly. Does changing the nation to England before Spanish fly disables the achievement?

You can form any country, and still get the achievement, but the requirements will be hidden (it'll disappear from the in game list but will show up when you complete it). I did it in the summer after forming Ireland, so forming England or anything else shouldn't be a problem either.

Bit off topic, but I combined it with Where has the Rum gone and Forever Golden, I used Galicia for the PU, then fed a huge Asturias as a vassal, integrated and released and played as them, did the Rum achievo then formed Spain and did Forever Golden. It's a nice combo and fun run if you also lack those achievements as I did.

Oh nice.. I also lack "Why is the Rum gone" achievement. I'll combine Forever Golden with a Aragon campaign (Culture -convert). I think with this release and play as gimmick I can also get the "Mann" and "Wales" achievement. Thanks

Update: Form GB (Did the Unthinkable) Got France in PU thru mission tree. Just got Spain in PU *(same dynasty/king die)..
Got the Spanish Fly achievement

Don't really know if I should really continue my run because both my PUs are bigger than me and very disloyal (for Asturias/Wales/Mann achievements)

Update: Released Wales feed all the required cores for Wales achievement. Yay

I'll do the Empire of Mann achievement in another run.
