You might want to wait until after Bank's (1.5) release.
Then read up on some reviews of it before you decide.

Personally though, I think it is worth buying, but not everyone might agree.

I'm with @Ultimuh , you should wait until 1.5 hits in about 5 days.

Otherwise, I'd say the game is worth it. It's a massive sci-fi strategy sandbox that's designed to need mods in order to personalize and make it amazing.

I think people that write on Steam reviews are either way to disappointed or way too impressed with the game, so i never give them much credit. That's why i prefer to ask in here, cause even if you play and enjoy the game you will express any complaints you have.

Another Question? Does late game requires to much micro-management ?

Depends on your playstyle. In 1.5 (or Utopia which comes out with 1.5), you have technologies and various perks that increase the amount of core systems you can control and manage directly. If you prefer relegating your planets to an AI, there are sectors you can set up that will handle them for you.

Worth buying for sure, as for the late game I usually stop playing because it doesnt interest me. You can keep going with repeatable tech until the whole galaxy is united under you, but I figure when your big enough that victory is inevitable its a good time to start a new game.

Probably more the fact it will be 50% off with new expansion, so buying it now will make you kick yourself.

Stellaris is better than HoI4 though.

endgame may be a bit boring. cuz there is less content. but the game is awesome anyway.
if there will be discount - i'd say absolutely buy it.
also you can watch some streams (like starcrossed starfish) to get the idea about the game

You should definitely give this game a chance.
Off course, after April 6th, when 1.5 patch comes

Early game is fantastic. mid/late game was... well, nothing horrible, is was OK. The main problem was that you don't have mutch to do. Now, with new feathers from Leviathans and Utopia, this problem will be mostly solved
Also,
also you can watch some streams (like starcrossed starfish) to get the idea about the game
I agree with this, but personally recommend you Blorg stream.
Begining:
It`s old ( BEFORE release!) and outdated, but it shows you the way of playing stellaris, that I personally consider most fun: super-heavy roleplay. Create any race you like and find interesting, and let the game tell you a story about their journey to the stars))

a) 1 year has passed since release
b) alot of the mid/late game issues that reviews were talking about have been resolved. There are now late game crises. There's alot of events going on in the midgame, including the Leviathan content.

With the release of the new expansion/patch(this coming thursday) the game is getting a major overhaul. Tons of bug fixes, quality of life improvements and a metric crap ton of content. If you don't already own the game, waiting until thursday would make sense. The Banks/Utopia iteration of the game would be a pretty badass first impression.

I bought Stellaris recently and, after a honeymoon period where I couldn't get enough, I'm starting to cool down and get used to some of its peculiarities. You will definitely need mods at some point, as vanilla can get very bare after multiple playthroughs. The rumors about late game being boring are 100% true, and I've yet to play a game to "completion." That said, I've had a lot of fun with what I've done. I recommend it, but don't expect too much of the late game.

The fact is that Stellaris is a very good game (and will be much better in a few days). But I do not know whether you should buy it, because, as Hume pointed out, we cannot derive "ought" from "is". So cannot help you, sorry.
