I find it quite bothersome that a child tourist could drive along the highway in a full-sized RV all on their own. It just doesn't make much sense, even more so than other things. This got me thinking about ways to have tourists behave as a more realistic familial unit; and I think I have a suggestion:
Similar to how residents can travel around with pets, tourists should travel with pets, as well. But instead of pet dogs, they will be “pet” family/group members. Tourists between young adults and seniors would be the host of the group, while the “pets” can be anyone from a child to a senior. The host can have up to 5 members in their group. Wherever the host goes, the members will follow.
So that this won't just be a visual thing, this should also tie into the gameplay; The more members there are in a group, the more money they will spend per visit. There should also be two types of “pets:” children and adults. While everyone, including children “pets”, can go to family-friendly parks and stores, children “pets” will be banned from the entertainment districts, similar to how the “Pet Ban” policy works in-game.
