-25 is the bombardment cap.

Amphibious size is not done through command limit, so I think HQ wouldn't help with it, but I am not sure.

I can't remember if having an HQ nearby would give amphibious attacker +ESE & event. What would count as nearby, though? Same unit? Same sea-zone? Adjacent sea-zone?

HQ's give bonuses only to the landing craft theyre in, and do not influence amphibious assaults, as those are tech dependent. However, if by some insane reason you decide to attempt a 24 division landing with an HQ attached, there would be no max command limit penalty, but the amph landing penalty would be titanic, offsetting the command limit bonus. It does provide ESE bonus and event bonus of course, but the HQ must be landing as well, not wait in the ocean.

Cheers. I have started investing in Strat bombers to do this once my ground/air support reaches a size that does the job. Also what about a HQ and in the sea province and para drop in 18 ? That way I can do marine X 3 rotating , inf bomb ground support, sea bombard etc.,

Tested best way. I actually fumbled through an invasion of England. Mistakes where made due to fatigue/late however rotating marines worked. I softened up with Infantry and had ready Para's to land as soon as I won. I was in a weak state however England was in worse as I destroyed a lot of their forces in France. Some early Naval battles (Norway) and Naval bombers allowed me to put the British Navy in a state where they couldn't force my ships out of Norwich. I lost a CV but I had 1 left my Surface fleet and 3 subs so I kept the pressure on. My air force was chewed up because I made an error and forgot to re-enforce, land forces same. I had to send everything I had to bomb if they could. I failed a few times in my amphibious landings. However I learnt beat the British immediately, press , press and I lost a lot of cruisers, DD,s a BB however once it was said and done. I held the waves. So many silly mistakes
