If you have an army unit that needs reinforcing, you can click on the unit, then on reinforce. The unit will lose some org, but not disappear from the map.

If you have a ship that needs repairing, you click on the ship, then click on repair ship and it disappears from the map into your force pool until repairs are done.

If you have serveral divisions of land units together it is simpiler to just click the fist icon in the upper left of the commander's screen and it will have the same effect as reinforcing your troops individually.

So what happens if you click the 'fist' for naval units? They are supposed to go into the force pool for repairs...but they don't! It functions exactly like reinforcing land units and is therefore a very exploitable bug.

Euhm, I dunno what version u are playing but they do go in teh forcepool. Boats in teh fleet who don't need repairing of xure stay in the port being available, did u confuse those?

Nope. Six subs in a port organized into one 'fleet'. 4 damaged and 2 not. Click the fist. Six subs still in the port, all 100% strength, and the damaged ones lost org.

perhaps a subs/surface ships difference here?

Nope. I played the game 5 mins ago and it worked exactly as intended. Ur going to have to provide a safe for this as I4ve never ever seen this and I use this a whole lot :D

Yeah, I have a fleet of ships slightly damaged. click the fist on upper right, they all go into force pool under repairs.

while on this topic does anyone else feel it is a little unbalanced with having to put ships out of service for a few months for repairs while all other units are so easily reinforced? Someone can bomb me with a few naval planes which gets reinforced immediately while I gotta put my ships in the force pool for a few months to get repaired, then finally redeploy them as if they were green units (0 organization).

Well if I remember correctly reinforcing any kind of unit drops its org to zero. And to me it makes sense that you could reinforce infantry, and even armor and air units, in the field, whereas to repair a ship it has to go into a drydock.

it depends on how much you had to reifnorce them... if the unit had 98 strength it may only lose a a point or two or organization... while repaired naval units being redeployed always start at 0 again. but the real issue is how much time it takes to repair ships compared to reinforcing entired divisions of strategy bombers or high tech tanks. sometimes it makes me think it is not balanced. any thoughts?

Fixing Ships

Game balance is a problem becuase Aircraft reinforces on the fly and ships require months to repair.

So what I do is build naval bombers attack your navy click repair wait few hours and attack again.

Maybe planes will go to force pool on repair also in 1.02?
