Ship color's not showing?

Maybe they toned it down for release but if not I must be blind because my colors appear to not have any effect whatsoever on ship appearances. I've tested with different colors to see if it was just something I missed but everything (spaceports, ships etc) appear to be their usual colors regardless of what empire colors I picked.

If anyone has noticed vibrant new ship colors to match their empire would you mind posting a screenshot so I can compare? Thanks

Thanks for that, I guess my stuff is bugged then because all my lights are default no matter what color empire I choose, I'll do some more experimenting it's probably an old mod or something messing it up.
