Shields are all Black CK2

This was not an issue beforehand but for some reason recently when i Play the game some of the House shields are just black. And by some i mean most of the House shields are black including HRE, Norway, Denmark, byzantine, Rome, Italy etc etc any ideas? i tried validating the files on steam multiple times. Im really trying to avoid reinstallling
