I suggest you rename "GUFSM" in your signature. It's not very evident what it means, to the non-informed. Something like "Unified Flags-Shields Patch" might be more recognizable and meaningful to more people, especially if you ever plan to post outside of this sub-forum.

As a native speaker of the English language, I think what I proposed would be clearest: "Unified Flags-Shield Mod."
Well, as a native speaker of the Swedish language I could use this: "Stora Förenade Flag/Sköld Mod"
But, since it doesn't bother me that much I propose that I'll use this one...

Maybe 'graphics' is a more precise term in your language, but in English it's a very broad ubiquitous term whose meaning has been diluted. I'm not insulting you, I just want people to download and use your package. I honestly believe the best way to do that is to label it 'Unified Flags-Shield Mod' within your signature. That's both very concise and abundantly clear, and people outside of this forum would probably understand immediately what it is without too much thought. If you included a new color scheme or new uniforms, perhaps you could call it a 'Graphics Mod.' Is that your long-term goal?
Anyway, that's all I have to say. I know I'm right but it's honestly not worth the struggle, alienation, etc.

tried downloading the mod; when it was finished, there was nothing in the zip file . it's probably a fluke on my system, i'll try again later. barring that, is there any way to download your flags separate from the mod?

Try using the other browser (either IE or Netscape) for downloading. I've had problems like this with user-created downloads in the past - most non-professional types don't check their webpages with the ones they don't use, and IE and Netscape are NOT 100% compatible.
why is that anyway? i've seen his webpage on the same computer using netscape and then internet explorer and the graphics don't even look the same...
