I am not sure if you loose prestige when you loose control of a province, I was offering that as a possible explanation. Are you playing this in vanilla EU3? The spy bug is easy to fix in the data files, if it's fixed for you, then you would loose prestige when discovered. Did you get many rejections when offering royal marriages? That is the single most damaging event for prestige.

The blue stripes are nice, of course, though I've always been more of a fan of the solid blue wool instead... but maybe that's just my conservative fashion taste talking.

Just one thought... where do you get the blue dye from? I mean, it's not like there are any blueberries in Shaybaind...

Oh I know! You use blue blood! That's why you don't have a nobility...

Depends what map mode you're on in EU3. If you're on the diplomatic map mode, then green stripes do mean a claim. Political map mode: Stripes are occupied territory. Religious map mode: The ruling religion is different than the province religion. I think thats it, not counting the economic map mode's black stripes of futile embargoes.

Also: AAR is awesome, keep it up!

Von Uber - Sometimes it does, I think Lu Yan answered that well.

Grundius - I haven't given it serious thought yet but it might be worth going for.

Jonny - Thanks and welcome along.

SirruShan - :D Very true.

Lu Yan - Thanks.

LeifNepstad - No big plans to. Even if I westernise I still can't change out of a tribal government can I?

Shame. The Island of Intelligence was swallowed by the Sea of Stupidity. :( . But never fear! There are some who are resisting! A last alliance of Kazakh and Sibir has joined to crush the vile uzbek menace!

2453 out of 2453 dead? Well, as all land pirates know, "dead men tell no tales" ;)

And oh that is a nice monarch. May he lead the land pirates to victory!

It is most pleasing thing to see that Great Nogai Horde is a servant of the glorious Shaybanid khan. Shayban's (son of Jöchi and grandson of Genghis) descendants are the true successors of the Mongol Empire.

Yarr is a true Mongol general. Nogai is now an ally and soon to be incroporated into the predominantly tartar/mongol Shaybanid Khanate. That 100% warscore means you can upgrade to Yarr 2 that is the size of a mountain lion and extra ferocious.

The Kazanian ghost army will be terrorizing the land and the living again. Do Kazakh and Sibir even like each other? One day soon, the Shaybanid Khan, whose administrative skills are very good, will discover just where all the wool producing provinces of Kazan are and then the Yarrs will descend upon them.

I have two warnings to your great descendants of Genghis, one for the High Chief, one for the general.

To the High Chief: Avoid Japan.

To the General: Fear monsuns, for they sink even the greatest pirate.
