Playing as a Merchant Republic, with CK2plus and Sieze the Republic mods. Started with Shattered realm, Dukes only.

I've just spotted this trait on my character and all my possible designated heirs. Description: "This poor person will not survive the shattering" I'm guessing this means that soon enough my dynasty will be wiped out.

Date is 16 April 816, and the "Shattered realm CB" ends on 1 January 829, so I'll probably fins out what the trait does soon enough. :)

Has anyone else encountered this trait and can enlighten me as to what it does? Are my assumptions and guesswork correct?

That trait only applies at the start of the SW game. There must be some sort of incompatibility going on with the other mod. Regardless, it does nothing other than act as a marker for the initial setup so you'll be fine.

If you had any kind of mod which added new traits on top of CK2Plus, and then loaded that save with the recently-released new mod version, some traits will be changed -- meaning what was "trait #170" is now a different one entirely.

So it's because you used a mod, but it will not affect anything. The trait does nothing outside of a SW game.
