Shared burdens to utopian abundance cave dweller build for early liberation wars?

Would this be a good build? I did it once but I wanna do it with more deliberate planning this time. The first time I doubled down on mineral bonuses. Mining guilds, industrious, etc... should I do something different with it this time? What should my other civic be? What traits should I focus on? What second ethic? I wanna spread fanatic egalitarianism through liberation and vassalization wars, what would you all recommend? Last time I went genetic ascenscion to keep the cave dweller bonuses, should I stay with that?

The only secondary ethic I wanna rule out is xenophobe. Need an equal society for all.

Pacifism is nice if you will only use Liberation Wars. The -sprawl never hurts.

In terms of civics, I'd suggest Shared Burdens + Parliamentary System to start, and then transition into Shared Burdens + Beacon of Liberty (more -sprawl) + Meritocracy.

Both Psi and Bio ascension will let you keep the species trait. (I'm in love with robots so I have no strong opinion on Psi or Bio being better.)

what bout my third civic? should i run beacon of liberty AND parliamentary system, then remove parliamentary system for something else later? also, for the pacifism i still would like to vassalize from time to time, not everyone needs to arrive at egalitarianism through liberation wars. i can still vassalize and build communal housing on vassal worlds as a pacifist, right? i just won't get those vassals from wars

If you keep Shared Burdens then that's your 3rd civic.

I do recommend Meritocracy over Parliamentary System after the first 10 years have passed.

So psi ascension's main weakness compared to both synths and genetics is habitability, and subterraneans mitigate that with their 50% habitability minimum. With gene modding you kind of lose that benefit of the origin. You also lose a lot of the utility of gene ascension if you aren't willing to lock certain species into specific social strata, which an egalitarian non-xenophobe (who doesn't like to use nerve staples) isn't going to be able to do well. So I think psi ascension is the way to go here.

nice. i usually go bioascension because i'm addicted to the advanced traits as well as clone vats, but i definitely want to branch out so this is a good argument for keeping my base species design and going psi ascension instead this time.

He doesn't know that we shift to Beacon of Liberty to compensate for our xeno immigration because -- after discovering that xenos exist, which we did not know on 2200.01.01 -- we decided that we valued them more than our stogy Parliament focus.

as we move to a utopian society, parliamentary democracy is dissolved into far more mass democracy through councils, because our workdays are between 0-3 hours long, and we can all get politically involved as a result. kind of like the old greek democracy, except it produced a mass participation in philosophy and culture on the basis of freeing one class from labour on the back of the slaves. people like aristotle and plato worked very little as a result of slave labour. in a shared burdens to utopian abundance roleplay, my "30 consumer goods surplus" tipping point for switching to utopian abundance can fit in with also having a domino effect a little later of a general whithering away of the state into something far closer to the population and far more benign than a state built on exploitation

See, my empire misread it as "Bacon of Liberty" which made it seem better than it was.
