Seeing as the Rome forum is suffering from a lack of activity, I thought I'd start this thread. This is where you can share your EU Rome stories, empires, strange goings on in your game or something which you think is, simply, just cool, no matter how insignificant you think it may be.
We need to start inspiring each other to keep playing this excellent game! Anyway, to kick things off, I thought I'd share my current empire with you. It may not be great compared to some of your achievements, but this is the largest nation I've managed to forge:
It's currently 618 AUC and I'm playing as Macedonia (Imperium). My current ruler is Emperor Ptolemy and was declared a God amongst men, upon his ascent to the throne. His position is seen with such honour that other members of the Ptolemy family are all vying to fill the Emperor's shoes. Emperor Ptolemy's 14 year old son was murdered by his Uncle. Years later, the Uncle was murdered by his brother (and brother to the Emperor). Who knows how many more Ptolemy's will die before I find my true successor.
I plan to finish colonising the rest of Germania Magna and then start colonising the rest of Britannia. I'm using my power over Catuvellauni (Suzerain state) to build their civ value to 50% before I crush them.
