Really my fears are what others stated above:
Stupid AI incapable of changing it's plans, recovering from a decisive defeat or thinking "out of the box". In previous Hoi installments one just basically had to win one major offensive and the AI lines just crumbled like a house of cards, with the only effort at regaining control was to throw more infantry on the front lines to die and the process repeats. I would hate to see that again, with fancier graphics.
The other main fear is lack of alternate routes mainly for the AI, which limits replayability a lot but after todays stream with the crapton of "plans" each country had i see this as a minor fear.
