When Abbas reinforcement had arrived he continued his marsch towards Delhi, destroying the Moghul army who had blocked his way. After sieging Delhi in half a year, its garrisson finaly surrended and Abbas marsched in with his army.
Abbas had now defeated both Turks as Moghuls on the battle field, as well as conquering both Istanbul as Delhi. In Delhi he sawed marvelous things. Persia was now a vast Empire, stretching from Indus in the East to Tunis in the West, from the harsh steppes in the North to Zanzibar in the South. Upon his return to Isfahan, he took the title of Abbas the Great.
