The third clause alone is fine. It will repeal the Freedom Act but it won't actually prohibit future policy fixing laws because such laws would obviously override the Democracy Act.

The problem with that act is that one person's hero are another person's nemesis. I see many people here talking bad about Badajoz and Zapeda all the time. In my opinion they were national heroes. Should all these people face hard prison labour? I am also against citizenship tests. Hard working immigrants should not have to worry about such tests, but contribute to the greatness of Chile thorugh their labor.

"I'd like to take a time to thank all my supporters for their support in this election. I am happy that the Conservadores have created a coalition and a joint democratic government with Partido Nacionale. Compared to the two other elections, this has been a landslide victory and I cant say how happy i am for this broad support, and that my presidency has finally been legitimized by this election. I have reviewed the old administration which had left large gaps after the coup, but these have now been filled. Ive spent many days creating this cabinet, and until I officially release the names of who will sit in which position - all I can say that naturally as the Conservadores and the Nacionale have been my strongest supporters, have naturally been rewarded with most positions in the administration according to merit and skill.

As mentioned earlier, Ive had many supporters and sadly I could not include -all- in my administration, but let me assure you that your support has and will not be forgotten. I am saddened that the President has chosen to replace me, but I will acquiesce; I am not the leader, and I am not the decision maker. Sr. Carrera, has a decision been made about my former position as Admiral (and that previous to it of Captain in the Chilean Navy)? I will continue to serve ((we don't even have ships, so I presume that the interim leaders of the fleet would not wish to keep the veteran and potentially higher ranking Alvarez from resuming leadership)) until word is received, but there is much confusion in the navy because of this issue, due to the vacancy of the Ministry of War and Navy previously.

I petition for you to clarify this issue, and preferably with the clarification that I retain a position serving my country in the navy.

It was an honor to serve alongside you Santa Rosa. The war will be carried on and fulfilled, you have my word of honor on that. I am positive that you will continue to be successful off the battlefield, just as you were on it. May peace follow you were you go.

Thank you Presidente Romano, I will not shame you for making this decision. I will work day and night to ensure that the remainder of this war is a success, and that we will reacquire all our lost territories from the Argentinians. I will work closely with our allies to ensure cooperation and a quick end to this war. Once the war is over, I will institute, with the permission from the Presidente and the rest of the Cabinet of course, a new recruitment program to replace our horrendous loses thus far. I shall also attempt to retrieve funds to begin work on a new Navy for Chile, but it will only be put to thought if we can spare the funds. If a Navy is able to be built, I will request from the Presidente to allow Gabriel Alvarez be reinstated within the Military, so that he may give his experience to our young Navy.
