Shadow Dragon has 300 hit points. I reduced it to 204, next turn it had 287. I reduced it to 162 and next turn it had 245.
Not only that but the lairs that spawn the shadow dragons make for a huge area of the map that becomes uncolonizable by the AI as the AI is never powerful enough or organized enough to defeat them.
