disabled almost every mod - but to be honest without mods the game is not worth playing -PLEASE do something!!!!

when you say "almost" every mod, which ones have you not disabled? You must disable all of them in order to see if the problem has to do with mods or not

Several weeks!? You do realize you added the unsupported mods. You have to fix the problem yourself. it won't fix itself.

Now, start a new thread in the "Bugs & Support forums" and provide all of the info it gives you from above in the new thread:
You can always read the pinned threads here and steam to check your mod list to make sure it is updated.
There is even a mod that checks for compatibility.
Lastly, unsubscribe all workshop and start a new game. Then add mods you need at the time. Otherwise, favorite ones you think may be useful in the future. This way you have less chance of conflicts and mod breakage on the next DLC release.
