Fall Gelb and Unternehmen Weserübung setup as the phoney war have ocurred, the game is saved at 08/Apr/1940.
This setup is very good for new player want learn blitz.
The only thing i did ahistorically here is annex yugoslavia utilizing focus tree.
The templates and divisions design aren't "historical".
The Italy INS'T in our faction, historically they join only on fall of paris(we don't need them, some new players have misconception that we need italy holding france on south, lol).
How to play this.
Unternehmen Weserübung
- on 09/Apr/1940 declare on Denmark and Norway.
- use General Guderian to quick take Denmark.
- the allies have tons of ships there don't fight them yet.
- once denmark fall only allied subs and few denmark surface ships will stay in Baltics.
- use General List to naval invade norway, beware that subs will atack ur convoys, use the surface fleet as "naval invasion" or "convoy escort mission".
- When demark fall bring Gen Guderian back to western front, draw a front order on netherlands.
Fall Gelb - how to blitz France.
- on 10/May/1940 declare war on HOL, BEL, LUX.
- Bring ALL your Fighter and CAS to airports near Benelux and do missions on low countries.
- The General whos atack luxembourg, will be micromanaged, to avoid atack level 10 forts.
- The Panzers generals(Guderian/Rommel) should advance using netherlands route.
- we can't use the "historical route"(Ardennes - Sedan) in hoi4, concentration of panzers in lux/bel borders will create supply issues, also belgium concentrate too much troops, the spreaded netherlands border is much better.
- The general responsible for luxembourg, once reach it, will atack non-fortified French tiles, then will pin, any troop coming from maginot line.
- free ride on north france.
