Setting up metro A-B-C

Trying to set up a 3-stop metro line from city center to southern and eastern suburbs. I would like it go A-B-A-C, but every time I choose A as the third stop (no matter which platform), the line closes and I can't add any more stations. If I then add C, the line automatically goes A-B-C. If I then add A at the end of that and move it up to position 3, the line isn't closed. Anyone figure this one out yet?

Select the track on the opposite of the start of A then is should work.

He told he tried both platforms. I haven't tried any of that so I don't know.

But platform A is the center right? So why don't you start in either B or C? Like this:

B-A-C-A-B

Is it not possible? You always pass twice through A before going to either B or C

I've not had this problem, not tried specifically, but i just did these on map editor

It seemed to happily accept A -> B -> A -> C, in those 2 iterations

Thanks, Arbus, that makes sense and works as well. You think the beginning and end are two stops when in reality they are one.

I have little experience so far with metro's, but does a Y-shaped line such as above (in iluvhats' post) work?
I thought there'd have to be a 'loop' shape to the line, the way trams and buses do?

No loop is required the same way for trams and buses are, as metro trains have the ability to be driven from both ends, and so can effectively turn around inside the station. The y-shaped set-up does have the problem that you can't go directly from one branch to the other branch, you have to go back through the station at the base ( You can see this if you look at the track lines and directions in the photo)

For future reference, you can always download manuals of games from their Store page on steam - even ones you haven't bought yet. (It's in a link in the right side of the page)

Right-click

Right-click up to four times. You can get it "upside-down" too. Sometimes you want the entrance in a certain place.
