I'm not 100% on what the current issue is - at first I thought it was because my regent was being incorrectly assigned - however to go into detail:

Currently, whenever I am in regency every faction will push demands when they get strong enough - this is where things stop working. For whatever reason, every single faction claims to have my Regent's backing (despite, ironically enough, there being several times where I simply put haven't had a regent to be backing them in the first place - assumedly a bug in and of itself), this forces me to accept and pushes through the faction demands.

Again, that would not be a problem, except it too is bugged and repeats ad infinitum every month or so (for lowering crown authority anyway - independence and claimant factions obviously can't repeat). This means that in less than a year you can go from absolute crown authority to autonomous vassals; I doubt this is intended in the slightest.

EDIT: Didn't put a version, because I'm unsure which version it started on, I first encountered it yesterday but it has likely been around a LOT longer than that (I normally manage my realm a little better than in my current save), and is still around in today's build.

Gets even better, as once you finally get out of regency, having lost 4-5 generations of crown authority, you also can't undo any of it for the rest of that character's life.
