I'm only on the fourth "mission" - the one where some evil wizard blasts your palace and damages everything around it. And I have to say, there are some serious design issues.

1. You have zero time to gather information. Each time you are immediately beset by hordes. Annoying.

2. After you survive the initial onslaught, there's no challenge. Establishing yourself is the one and only challenge of each mission so far.

3. You have to lose several times to figure out how to survive the initial onslaught, leading to a narrow solution. Deviate and you lose.

Anyway, I'm pissed off and speaking my mind. And I love the concept and hope there will be improvements if a Majesty 3 is made.

In that mission you have to build a level 3 mages guild if i remember, to stop the attacks of the wizard.

Such simplycity of Majesty is either loved or hated. That´s up to you, but your view is way too much superficial and simplistic as well, i do enjoy more profoundly the experience of the game itself.

Usually being uber agressive at the beginning of each mission makes it more probable you won´t lose the mission, but it will be less entertaining as well. Although in some specific missions you have to be uber agressive to pass them so you are able to adapt your settlement to survive the coming enemies.

If you dont like that...
