Any chance that we'll get to see a preview based on the beginnings of WWI? What are the options that AH and Serbia are presented with after the assasination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand? How do those decisions impact the beginning of the war?

First of all Serbia should have parts of bosnia and croatia added as Serbian cores provinces after that if Allies win the war it should be creation of Yugoslavia option. so if u conquer parts austrian teritory as Serbian creation of Yugoslavia should`t fire till the end of the war. Other think is serbian province Ferizaji should be Urosevac i dont know why in some AOD games it shows Ferizaji, it looks like someone had a bright idea without knowing any historical facts

The forming of Yugoslavia isn't a MUST!!Historically Yugoslavia was Kingdom of SHS (Serbians,Croats and Slovenians) untill 1929 when King Alexander renamed it to Yugoslavia. The other thing is that Yugoslavia wasn't formed directly after the war. When the WW1 ended the Yugoslavian countries under the occupation of Austria (Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia) formed the the State of SHS (this time Slovenians, Croats and Serbians and yes the order of the countries is of GREAT importance). After the Italians were betrayed by the Entente and didn't got the Dalmatian coast ,which they were promised to get after the war, the State of SHS was afraid of an Italian invasion and then sended a diplomatical mission to the Kingdom of Serbia to propose a union but the Croats insisted on federationalism ( but the diplomats folded and accepted the Serbian demands ( a uniffication in one country under the Serbian king). So there were many things that could stop the forming of Yugoslavia: If the State of SHS didn't folded to the Serbian demands, the Italians could get Dalmatia after the Versailles ( The Italians did occupy some land in Istria and Dalmatia but the regions are just too big to represent that),there is the option that a few bosnian provinces (with mainly Serbian population) join the Kingdom of Serbia which would lead to a war with the State of SHS in which the State of SHS could win and take some land from the Kingdom of Serbia like retaking the occupied land, annexation of Montenegro ( which was annexed by the Kingom of Serbi in November,1918) etc.

That "state" you mention, was nothing like that.It only was an assembly that voted to join Serbia under Italian threat of annexation. They would anyway be incorporated to Serbia in some way or another, since the Serbian army arrived in Bosnia and Croatia already. But that's not important,i was asking if by playing Serbia, you would have a chance to choose your war goals.Create Yugoslavia,or liberate Serb populated lands only.Remember, the Allies offered this to Serbia

But our government thought that a Yugoslav goal was better, because by calling for a free Yugoslavia, they would win the hearts and minds of Slovenian,Croat and other South Slav soldiers, who will not look at Serbs as enemies anymore. That was a way of weakening Austria from the inside ;)

Sebia rejected the "offer" of the Entente because it would not hold that teritory for long because of most likely constant uprising of the local Bosniak and Croat population and then decided the idea of Yugoslavia because that was the only way they could expand. The State of SHS was like that and it's true that they decided to join Serbia under the threat of Italian annexation but into a FEDERATIONALIST Yugoslavia but the Serbians rejected. There should be an option that would allow the State of SHS to stay independent or join Italy or fold to their demands. Not only join Serbia or not, or if they want to join Serbia to do that under their demands. It would be not fair to "FORCE" the State of SHS into Serbia. That "weakening of Austria" you are talking about wasn't so as you are thinking of it.After the defeat of Austrian forces in Serbia at the beggining of the war the Serbs entered and raided eastern parts of Bosnia. That raids made the Bosnian populace acceptive towards the Austrians and there were even brigades made from Bosnian soldiers fighting on the Serbian front.

Ehm,Serbs were majority in most of those territories the Entente offered in those years.

Dark Blue - 80-100% (absolute majority)
Moderate-Dark Blue - 60-80% (significant majority)
Moderate Blue - 40-60% (relative majority)
Light Blue - 20-40% minority (significant minority)
Lighter Blue - 0-20% (small minority)

then decided the idea of Yugoslavia because that was the only way they could expand.

that's simply not true because Serbia was on the wining side, and having most victims in the entente(in %),would probably have quite a lot freedom to expand.

But again i say, that's not the point. That SHS you call a "state" was just an assembly by the local people. They had no real power,no army,no government,so it was not really a state.Just a transition period, until they decided what to do.

And if you want to talk about your fictional history, open another thread.I don't want to go off topic further.

Why not give Serbia whole europe as core provinces, i mean hey they would even be able to conquer the world alone the serbian super soldiers....

For gods sake i cant hear the serbian nationalist bullshit anymore in every forum everywhere when someone is talking about the balkans you can count on one thing: That the serbians are screaming as the loudest....
