Here is the situation in my current campaign. I play on the Comintern side, but the wars got merged at some point, so now it's global "everyone v. the Axis" war. So, I'm staging a coup in Germany. Presumably some communist Germany (DDR?) will appear and promptly join the right side. Then what? Will there be Yalta, and will my pet DDR get all the Reich's cores anyway?

IIRC there should be a Yalta conference event for USSR (and may UK? Haven't played them to 41+) that sets up the east/west German cores. The AI at the peace conference should then choose to liberate their respective Germany, or at the Allies will do this if a player USSR puppets east Germany.
