One of the most difficult and anoying that I noticed while playing HoI 3 is the the inability to mange all the rules together.
It is way too much for one man to handle both strategy and tactics and diplomacy and technology Ect. Ect.
That why I think in mybopinion yiu should sparate it (or at least give it as an options for thos how want that) for separate rules like ministers that every minister is responsible for a very specific role.
That way it will also be much more historically accurate when each one had his own job
It can also make the game much more fun in a co-op games

In HOI3 (TFH) one had the option of letting the AI handle any section (Diplomacy, Trade, Research, etc.) all one had to do is activate it at the start of a game.

Is this what you want in HOI4, or are you looking for something different?

In HOI3, you could leave some of those things to the AI. I always preferred not to, but the option was there.
Anyways, I'm not sure if this feature will be in HOI4.
And also, player isn't a minister, they are more of the guiding hand of the nation. So this feature wouldn't make it more historically accurate, instead it would take some strain off the player, which is just as good.

I know this option but AI some clear disadvantages
AI is doing exactlly what it was programed to do and not always he does what's the best for me
another disadvantages due thisfact is that it's not dynamic.he has only some ways to manage trade ,for example and thats about it. its not like with a human been where you can have plan and its feels more dynamic

HOI is a game not a sim.

However, maybe the US or UK could be fun if played in multiplayer by two or three people where each is in charge of something.

Yes, I know that in real life, some people have certain jobs, but in real life, there isn't one all-powerful guiding hand for the nation. In Hearts of Iron there is. Basically, you aren't playing AS the leader, you're playing as the country itself.
I don't even know why we're arguing about this anyways, it's not important.

It would be pretty cool, if you could play one country together in Coop.

This would be excellent introduction to the game for friends of mine to be encouraged into HOI IV, who avoided Hoi 3, because they were daunted by the complexity (they viewed Hoi 3 as a good game for accountants).

Maybe this is a good suggestion for a future DLC.

I'm pretty sure you can do that in HoI3 (although I'm a SP person m'self, I've just gleaned that from the forums), and I'm even more confident (not 100%, but fairly) that we've been told we can coop it up in HoI4 as well. I totally agree that it's a great way to introduce friends to the series - much better than giving them another nation and steamrolling them :).

That's actually not a bad idea. In HOI3, you can automate pretty much anything and everything, but it'd be kinda neat to tie it to your ministers, and give them stats which determined how well they would do their job. I see several problems with this -- for example, if you want to control research or production yourself, but you have a minister with very good traits, what do you do? Leave him to control the research even though he probably won't research what you think is best, becauswe he'll research faster, or control research manually and "waste" that bonus? Also, I don't think HOI4 is going to have nearly as much automation as its predecessor. It's a very interesting thought, though.
