Looks like one clan has 50% control over Japan, when does the ai decide to claim the title?
Probably when it decides the other clans are not a threat, since most likely once you announce that you will be shogun the other powerful clans will immediately send you a war declaration or will plot to take you down. If the shogun-to-be is powerful enough to keep the competition at bay there won't be too much trouble, but if he can't all hell will break loose...

I think a full bar means you own 50%, notice on an earlier screenshot were the bar was almost half full the biggest clan was on 23%
I think you should change the bit in the last post about the Ashikaga shogunate replacing the Ashikaga shogunate you probably change it to the Ashikaga shogunate securing it's hold on the shogunate again as it makes a lot more sense than it replacing itsself

hehehe... you noticed.. even my 3 hints to king to fix this error were not enough... :ninja:
