So, I have 3 spare missionaries, a really good conversion rate and have converted all of my own provinces. But my vassals suck and take 5-10 years to convert really cheap provinces, getting constant rebellions and it only gets worse when I conquer more land for them, forcing me to leave a large part of my army behind to protect them. If I could send my missionaries to their land, I could convert everything in a few years and it would give my missionaries something to do.
