Quintus Livius Varro travels through nearly all Provinces of the Republic and succeeds to improve the Happiness in Campania, Etruria, Lugdinensis and Umbria by 5. His arrival in Dalmatia coincides with several good omen, thus the Happiness of the Population increases by 10.
Due to the Gaul War, the Happiness in all Provinces decreases by 1.
Provinces with below-average Happiness are Bruttium, Liguria, Venetia (47 each), Umbria (45), Apulia (42), Campania (36), Aquitania, Central Gaul and Latium (28 each).
Aedile report:
Tiberius Belisarius informs the Senate about several constructions. The Fortifications in Campania and Etruria have been improved. Furthermore a Mine has been built in Central Gaul and a Port in Aquitania. All these constructions were build without further events.
The construction of a Temple was finished earlier than expected due to the Aedile`s outstanding management of the available workforce. Thus the expenses for this project are reduced to 200 Denarii.
Quaestor report:
Sextus Atilius Aelianus negotiates with the Merchant Guilds concerning the usage of the new Mine and Port. While the Mine will generate another 30 Denarii, Aelianus fails to obtain a favorable result with the Port, that will generate 20 Denarii only.
On the other hand, he excels at managing the tax collection, thus the Taxes for the last six months sum up to 1.232 Denarii. The Treasury holds 3.977 Denarii.

Tribune report:
Four Legions receive reinforcements.
Tribune Gnaeus Scipio Lentulus manages to engage the Gaul Army in Armorica in a field battle. The two lines crush in another. In the following bloody battle, most of the Gaul forces are destroyed while a small rest is able to flee from the field. With nowhere to retreat to, the remaining Gauls flee to the city of Condate and reinforce the Garrison. Lentulus starts to siege the city.
Aulus Manlius Merula enters Germania Superior with two Legions. He immediately assaults the city of Trier. Although the Defenders suffer large casualties, they can repulse the roman Soldiers. The same goes for Tribune Gaius Geminius, who takes command of the forces in Belgica, besieging the city of Samarobriva and also Tribune Decimus Cominius in Narbonensis.
In a final battle, Tribune Aulus Quinctius destroys the last rebel forces in Latium while suffering small casualties. The population is happy to be relieved of this threat and its Happiness increases.

The Spy reports, that Vercingetorix is unable to recruit new troops, since all Gaul Provinces are besieged by roman forces.
