It seemed to me before seeing this that the best option would be a full screen tab for order of battle. This looks a bit cumbersome already.
Will this function all you to drag and drop units into different hierarchies? Say the 1st Gebirgsjager division gets reassigned to the Italian front, you can simply S-R the unit, then in the hiearchy window drag them from say the Eastern theater to the Italian theater?
It would be difficult to put that division into a particular corps within an army within an army group within the Italian theater, would it not? That would require some serious room to see the heirarchy, rather than a big version of the outliner. Obviously I have not used it, so I cannot really provide a useful opinion.
But will it be possible to have two rows of the hierarchy? Say one row is OKW, the second one is OKH and you could freely drag from one to the other?
Question, while I'm thinking about brigades...will this editor allow inter-divisional brigade swapping?
The leader portrait in the browser has a tooltip with this info, we considered more info directly visible in the browser, but it quickly got bloated. How about displaying the commanders name and traits in the OOB editor? That way we could easily see if a panzer leader is in charge of an infantry division, and it would add flavour too see commander names.![]()
No probs. Personally hope it's optional, as it seems to add to the clutter to my eyes
