Thank you per Truman for your help, just one more question if I may, is it possiable for my self to have a firearm, a have a sword as I am a proffesional fencer but I don't think that would do much good against a machine gun toting terrorist.

I request a list of all officers in the area of ENDTech, so I may determine command. They will be ordered to use non lethal force when possible, and will only use lethal force as a last resort.

Truman goes to a more private room with Von Hapsburg... (OOC: PRIVATE)

Von Hapsburg, I've got another mission for you. A new citizen has just been registered. He was a KGB agent. His name is Naruto Uzumaki. I want someone of our agents to follow to find out what he is doing here. Please contact Per Johnson of CIS (he is a Non-Played Character, NPC) for this mission. (OOC: in this thread) Don't go for aggresive actions.
You've got also the permission to go for some intell in the FEAR, if you think that is needed. My suggestion is to infiltrade it, or give some high ranked officers money for intell.

Per Johnson, I await your briefing.
OOC: No, just say you go to HQ of CIS (in this thread) and say you want him (and his men) to do something (for you). After Action Report will follow after you've got permission (I think it's nessesairy to ask the Prez, before you can start this kind of missions) and the mods have initiated that mission.

No I did not mean it like that I ,ment that the workers might tell the inspector's more than they should. Loic did say that the wrokers were a security risk.

A message arrives from the MTIA
Per MDIS,

Have you given any thought to methods for stimulating recruitment to the military? Do you want the MTIA to start processing visas for Haitian and Guyanan immigrants who enlist, or have you come up with more conventional means?

Has the air force mission to Sukhoi OKB endorsed the selection of the SU-37 as our new first line fighter?

Regards,

A message from the Coast Guard.

Minister: Regarding the Garry Boldwater, we do have the ability to check the ship out. We could task the oceangraphic research vessel Heyerdahl. She has some ROVs that could determine the integrity of the ship's hull.

President and MTIA Loic de Fourgéres calls the MDIS
"Frans, I got your note about the military recruitment program. The MTIA has put in place the regulations needed to make it possible. It is now up to you to dispatch some recruiters. We should start slow and see how it goes with the first batch.

I got permission from the British for use to establish a multi-use facility in the Turks and Caicos. I had asked Admiral Tulp to scout out a suitable location for a landing strip, reseach/weather station, with some sort of docking or mooring facility, but he is tied up with his trial so could you send someone. They shouldn't go in uniform, the military presence at such a facility is incidental, or must appear that way. I am also interested in establish a similar facility in Western Sahara or Mauretania. Basically, since we don't have aircraft carriers anymore and currently lack aerial refueling capacity, we need some places where our planes can refuel if returning home is made difficult by say, a hurricane.

Thanks for taking care of these items."

A note arrives from the President.
Per MDIS,

The production run for the Gorgon II tanks should be winding up in about 18 months, which is better for our unemployment statistics than if we hadn't made the sale to the Tilapians, as it would be ending now. I will try, as MTIA, to promote some more export sales, but you should probably revive the plans for a replacement for the old M-113 armored infantry transport vehicles that are in pretty poor shape now. One possible set of specifications can be found here but feel free to deviate from these old plans, as some newer ideas may have come along in the intervening years.

You could also look into self propelled artillery. I am mentioning vehicles to keep that particular production line going, but there are obviously other needs for the army that may have been neglected, which would be worth your attention.

Respectfully,

MDIS hands out a pressrelease...

MDIS said:
To: all Military Bases and Press
From: MDIS
Subject: Visit of Military Bases by MDIS

Gentlepers,
The current MDIS, Per Frans Truman, is going to visit all military bases, just like former MDIS did. During this absence MDIS will ben supervised by the current Deputy MDIS: Per Von Hapsburg. At some of the visits the Press will be allowed to join, but at some others are strictly forbidden.

Truman, MDIS
OOC: I'm currently not available, so I read the former post (The_Hawk as MDIS) and thought to design something which could fit in my situation. I'm yet not aware how long this absence is going to take.

An e-mail from Condorski in Russia.

Minister: We've been throwing the Su-37 around the sky for a couple of days now. It is extremely Sierra Hotel. A couple of concerns:

- This may be too much airplane for most of our pilots. We'll need to really boost up training budget to get the most out of them.

- This may be too much airplane for our enemies. I'll be the first to admit that there is no such thing as overkill, but we'll be able to clear the skies over Eutopia with these suckers; the bad guys won't know what hit 'em. Of course, we could do the same and cheaper with earlier generation airplanes. Personally, I say go top of the line!

- We're not going to be able to manufacture spare parts unless we get a generous license and build up a precision industrial base. We'll be relying on Russian goodwill to keep 'em flying.

Other than that, we're looking at great planes. Buy us a two-seat trainer version and I'll show you what one can do, personally!

- Condorski.

A reply from Truman arrives at Condorski in Russia...

From: Truman, MDIS, Eutopia
To: Condorski, HoA, Russia
Subject: RE: SU-37

Hi Carl,
Thanks for the mail. The President was asking me about it a few days ago. I'll forward him your mail. I understand you are very happy about the plane. I'll try to get more money for training and I'll ask the President (and MTIA) if he can arrange something about the manufacturing the spare parts. In the first year 3 two-seats will be ready and also 3 single-seats.

I'm looking forward to your demonstration.

Regards,
