I just can't play as the Seljuks without becoming bored and frustrated by the constant peasant rebellions. Just about every province in your realm has the 1% wrong culture revolt risk, and with a realm so large I usually get at least 2 every 5 inutes of game time. I then have to pause the game, find some spare levies to throw at them, gather them into a single province (the levies from province aren't enough anymore since a recent patch changed how rebels work), and watch as they traverse Persia at a painstakingly slow speed. Sometimes you just can't spare any levies in the region because you've sent them off to war, which means gathering them even further away. This ruins immersion for me.

The problems seem to be:
1. Takes a very long time to travel between provinces in Persia
2. "Dukes" very reluctant or entirely unable to deal with rebels
3. Too many rebels spawning per province?
4. Rebellions too frequent?
5. Wrong-cultre RR unnecessary?

I'm not a fan of having rebels at all if I'm honest. They don't really add anything to the game except to distract you from doing things you'd rather be doing. EU3 had an auto hunt rebels feature. When it was released, I finally felt able to play a Russia game more than a few years after forming the country because I no longer had to worry about immersion-breaking rebels. It'd be nice if there were a similar system to make rebels less annoying.

imo we need a overhaul to the rebel system. currently, they are a annoyance, especially for relams like persia, but they pose no threath AT ALL. i'd prefer to see rebel rebellions that are actually a threath i.e. them trying to gain indpendence on duchy elvel or so mobilising a force relative to the strenght of that duchy. neighbouring duchies of the same culture and religion ahve a chance to join them, and if they succeed you get a new independent state with good rulers, levy, rebellion and tax bonusses for a few years, and a monetary boost. would actually make a very fun new mechanic.
