dunno if i´m missing something here, but seems like a problem to me ? I assign my child to be educated by a person, a week later i get a message that another person has accepted the guardianship to said child.

Anybody had that ? Playing in Egypt with the Sword of Islam expansion.

The tutor has to be muslim.

they are, that´s not it. One even is the exact same religion as me (Shia) and still it doesn´t work.

Another thing that happens is that i go in and change it back to how i originally set it up, then it´ll stick until i next load up the save again.

Another possible reason : Is it impossible for your wives to educate the children ? (but then why would the game offer them as possible guardians and even display them as their guardians until the next load of the save ?)

Are you sure that another character is educating your child? The "Other person" could be that courtier's liege sending you a letter of acceptance.

If you request guardianship to a landless character in another's court, you will get a letter from that character's liege.

no, as said i try to assign guardianship to one of my wives and the game accepts that but after a week or so suddenly i get a letter saying one of my vassals has accepted it. (it is the one with the highest learning allways)

I'll assume you are talking about your female children, they get tutors assigned automatically, that's how it works for Muslims and you shouldn't worry about it as Muslim girls in this game are only good for alliances, thier education doesn't matter at all.

If it is your own male children being reassigned, then something is wrong.

Education matters. It helps to secure marriages.
