I seek a mod which improves the game by adding events, missing tech teams, missing leaders and realism in the tech tree (this last one is optional), and by improving AI's strategies and resistance.

We're still aiming for that spot, like we did for HoI1. It's just that we had to outdo the others to achieve it, which takes time. ;)

I don't necesarily agree with that one, it took a little time and noticing for people to look at things other than CORE and HSR but TRP is at the top right now and has been for over 3 years.

Good luck, you're gonna need it when competing with the various other great mods that are around. ;) I hope you can pull off similar mod to HoI1 CORE, it'd be fantastic.

Well, I did not mean to imply that those are not grand or great (=fantastic and good) mods. I just meant that there is no mod that is overwhelmingly popular compared to all others. TRP is apparently the most popular but there are numerous other mods that may not be as popular as TRP but are popular and known in any case. Mods that are recommended and played and known. When somebody asks for good mod there are most likely several mods recommended.

In other games there is more likely one "supermod" which is the be-all, end-all mod (like VIP or AGCEEP), that trumps or incorporates other mods. When in Vicky forum somebody asks about mod, it's always VIP (and sometimes Southern Revolutions) that is recommended. In that sense HoI2 seems to be somewhat different game from the others.
